I had adsl 1024 installed by telkom today and although my router says the dsl connection is connected and telkom say the line is ok I cannot get the PPPoE connection to start up.
I keep getting
Nov 25 23:26:53> "Connecting PPPoE socket: 00:00:00:00:00:00 0000 0x1000d3b8"
Then
Nov 25 23:26:53> Couldn't get channel number: Transport endpoint is not connected
Then
Nov 25 23:26:53> Doing disconnect
Anybody have any bright ideas ?
