My D-Link 2750 keeps disconnecting the devices connected via wifi, why?

I just updated my Telkom branded 2750U with the latest retail firmware and changed the Group rekey interval to 3600 like suggested by the dlink rep and all is sorted.

Here is the link to the latest firmware for the DSL-2750U I confirm it works with the Telkom Branded D-LINK too.

Could you please check the value of your Group Rekey Interval. It should be on 3600.

So why isn't that the default setting?

Hide the SSID.

You can hide your router SSID and then connect manually to it with your devices.

Have you looked at our range of Ethernet over Power WiFi extenders? Pretty easy to set up.

As Rickster and giggity have said you can hide your SSID and manually add the wireless network to your devices.

Yes, but Powerline is often not possible in multi circuit/phase houses.

So... QoS is advertised by Telkom on their website for their routers for absolutely no reason?

Oh, also, is it possible to set up a dynamic dns on the 2750U that isn't dyndns/dlinkddns? I'd like to rather use a local ddns provider like dyndns.co.za.

Welcome, great to have someone from D-Link on the site, please keep in mind that people ask questions here because they would rather not phone call centers and tech support to be put on hold, or try to explain a problem over a phone.

If you don't have an answer, rather get the answer and post it here instead of asking people to phone.
