D3 Demon Hunters Conclave

Yes DPS is not everything, especially sheet DPS. Still going from a max of 1.4 million damage down to 1.2 is hard to take but at least I gained nice procs on the one-handed crossbows plus the set bonus from Marauders.

CarsinemiA (wiz) picks up marauder boots which he kindly passes my way (giving me enough pieces for the Marauder pets bonus) - a couple of rifts later, what drops for me? Yep, marauders boots.

Anyhow, had to rejig my toon completely, dropping from 1.25 sheet dps to 1.06 (but with significant toughness boost).

With the pets, fire, hungering arrow and Cluster arrow bonuses I suspect that my effective kill rate is higher than before, and of course it's hard to argue with 3 wolves, a boar, 2 ferrets, a spider. And a bat .

Had to break my Nats set though which is sad so now I really need a Nats ring.

Also, white craft mats desperately needed:

Hand Xbow - penetrator
Belt - archon sash

wonderful and I was keen on those boots for my DH too not sure if they would have been better than what I've got though, my toughness on my DH is much better now, but I'm still low on the damage side that's why I was still running my crusader last night

I might be able to help with the mats, I actually ignored a couple of archon sash drops in game yesterday, you can get them regularly in act V

You lucky bugger. Gratz man. My sheet DPS with the 3 pieces of Marauder's gear and the ring for the set bonus is at 1.33 mil. My toughness is at 7.7 mil in game.

I have two of those white one-hand crossbows that you can have. Did some farming yesterday and a clan mate donated one as well. The white belts drop like crazy in act 5.

Now only doing rifts to get the last marauders and my hand crossbows.
Going through T1 very quickly thinking of moving to T2 for higher drop rates.
Need to get an efficient party together so we can blast through

I had Prides Fall three helms back. Worked great for rift maps where there were wide open spaces as the chance of being hit by mobs were less but most of the time the rift maps are narrow and the mobs are quite close to you. So gave up as I hardly had 5 seconds of not being hit by something. Maybe you will do better.

T3 is quite easy with the parties of late. We must make a plan to run some more of those.

Did you get your Penetrator bow in the end? I came across two. Unfortunately, one was cracked and the other was a magic weapon. So close, yet so far...

Yeah i am working on getting my gems up to scratch.
Cindercoat is BiS (that is my opinion).
Working on rerolling most of my items.
We should do some rifts tonight

Yeah it is but i just got used to it now and i have the bonus running for about 90% of the time(only time it drops is for reflect & frozen).
It is quite epic.
I just need upgrades to my amulet & belt, still huntinh Maruders and looking for the Danettas/Calamity.

I also see plenty of these in the 'blue' and 'grey' incarnations but no the 'white'

Your DH or Crusader?

If your Crusader is tough enough, consider replacing that socket in your helm with a ChC roll

Edit: You also need a serious upgrade on your ChD bonus - try to keep the ratio of 1 ChC to 10 ChD - play around with the paragon points allocations.

So I thought I've been very clever stacking All Resist gems in my DH but have recently learnt that Emeralds are the way to up the Dodge chance. My question though, is whether Dodge also works against Elite damage types such as Arcane Sentries, Plague, Molten etc or if Dodge is purely in effect for melee or range attacks.

So all that cash I blew on those diamonds was for naught! Ai... It took me forever to craft that emerald that is in my wizard's weapon and now I have 5 sockets to replace!?! Lol... Think I need to go on a T6 gold run with someone.
