D3 Demon Hunters Conclave

Morning

How much do we need of this CDR or RCR for DH. Cool down versus cost?

Reduced Cost Reduction > Cooldown Reduction

What build are you currently running - Cluster Arrow/Multishot, what element - Fire/Cold/Lightning

@Oculate

Ok that makes sense. RCR is more important then CDR. At least the hatred spenders will cost less Sentries and CA.
Cost factor and not timing. Sentry 8 sec CDR.
Tnx will keep that in mind.

Non-Season char i think with PoF helm my CDR is currently 4*.**. I know it was in the forties.

Crusader and I we did two act III runs no Pride of Fall.

Wasn't me. Unless you are talking about times way before my crappy internet got even worse.

***Incorrect disregard***
Also keep in mind that, as far as I know, CDR does not lower the cooldowns on sentry charges. They will take 8s regardless of how much CDR you have. It does make a difference on other skills though.

I thought CDR affected sentry charges?

Is it possible to see online where I've spent my paragon points? Quite curious to get your opinions on where I've loaded P points in my DH

Yeah, sorry. Looks like the info I had read was based on the PTR. Seems CDR does lower the charge times.

Tested to make sure. I only have 10%CDR, but it does drop the 8s down to 7.

CDR also gets hit with Diminishing Returns once you get into the higher %s

My Crusader with full akkan's needs 56.7% CDR instead of a flat 50% to only just keep Akarat's Champion off CD permanently

Leveled some more and pushed up the difficulty. Pulled two pieces of the marauder's set and I'm now farming for the ring of royal grandeur so I can get the three set bonus.

Find one of the clan regulars online to help you grind the RoRG.
I helped one of the guys find an ancient one yesterday - only 2 bounty runs ;)

I was away and my groupies flocked to me. You were getting your XP on while I was getting my sosatie braai on. And no, that is not a euphemism for anything.

It's a pleasure, kiddo

AFAIK so does RCR. And it is not deminishing based on level of percentage. But based on each individual item with that stat.

If you had 3 items with 8% each. Or two items with 12% each, the two items would reach a higher final value.

The calculation IIR is that each individual source of CDR/RCR is calculated on the remaining available value after other sources have been calculated.

So the first source of 8% CDR will give 8% CDR. Leaving 92 in the pool. The next 8% will be calculated on that 92. So it will only add 7.36 to the final CDR value. And so on.

That is part of the reason why items like Cindercoat and Pride's fall are so strong. Because they add close to 4x the normal value of CRC, in one single item. Netting you like 3 or 4% more than if you had 3x8% and 1x6% across 4 items.

In principle it is not far off what you said, that the stat diminishes the more of it you have. But understanding exactly how it diminishes can help people squeeze out the most from their available stats.

Managed a level 41 rift with 6 min to spare on my PS4 char. Pretty impressive since that's without a SoJ or Unity and only 2 gems. Really need to find a cold SoJ, a socket-able amulet and a better rucksack before I can go any higher.

Don't forget the Helm Socket :) 12.5%/25% (with perfect rolled Leorics Crown) CDR
