D3: High Level Char Stats

Did a 3 man butcher run the other night with a fresh lvl 60 barb and my friend on his DH. Both got one shotted at some point, while I was quite happily standing toe to toe, even in the fire. And yet they both think that resists are a minor stat...

Not in inferno yet but starting to get gear with + all resists... up to 200 on all resistances now in Act II Hell.

Level: 60
Class: Wizard
Armour: 2500 (unbuffed) - Needs loads of work now
Dodge %: 14.7
Damage: 24k (buffed)
HP: 21k

I had to resort to buying a cheap 1000+ damage bow to get my DPS up. Might have been a stupid move since my armor rating fell through the floor since I can't carry the shield anymore.

What armour rating are you aiming for? I want around 6k when lvl 60 (buffed)

That would be the ideal I think. The armor buffs help quite a bit. I'm considering running with the enchantress to see how that goes with her additional buff, but I don't think she'll draw enough aggro.

I'm seriously wondering what's gone wrong with my gearing with Conan....

If it weren't for a belt I had stashed, my armour would still be under 3K, pretty much on par with my damage at 2.9k...

My stats now are...

Level: 54
Armour: 3.2k
Dodge: 15%
Block: 0%
Resists: ~60
Damage: 2.9k
HP: 17k
AS: 1.4 (using Frenzy so have an effective 75% IAS)
LoH: 600 (crafted 2 of the 300 LoH gems)

The only reason he generally stays alive in mobs/elites is due to skill selection. I'm in Act 2 of Hell on the way to Magdha (I know there's an 'H' in there somewhere), needing to buff myself quite a bit before this act is "easy".

All I can remember is that in Hell I played with a sword and shield already and I started to stack Resist All. Was very easy, almost faceroll...

You running with the templar?

I played a bit last night and was lucky enough to be grouped with 3 barbarians. Barbarian wall with me spamming all out offensive from the back. Was a lot of fun.

ps thanks for Pixelninja dragging me to level 58 yesterday :D

Yeah, but he doesn't seem very effective. Those mobs seem to ignore him and gun right for me.

That is why I play the co-op, usually a monk or a barb in the group so then I am not the main target. It also feels like i gain xp faster.

I think you definitely gain XP faster in co-op. Perhaps cause there tends to be more monster or that they are tougher.

The internet issues today has made Diablo III unplayable for me. How I wish the screenshot was actually true (the game hung BTW)

Ok so Conan finally reached lvl 60 yesterday (Thanks Crusader, your Wiz was the bomb!) and here are my stats...

Level: 60
Armour: 4.9k
Dodge: whatever 500 dex gives
Block: 0%
Resists: ~300
Damage: 15.6k
HP: 29k
AS: 1.4 (using Frenzy so have an effective 75% IAS)
LoH: 750 (was saving an axe I found at 450 Loh and using a mace Worf GAVE me :) )

I am quite squishy with this build, and generally do better when I'm surrounded as opposed to just 3-5 elites. I can gain more life than is taken when one elite is attacking, 2 means using skills to buff life and 3+ means practicing for the Comrades while my skills recharge. I need to pick my armour up by about 1000 and resists by 300 before I'll tackle Act 2 though.

Monk
42% dodge
600 resists
5k armour buffed
30k HP
20k dps (28 buffed, 44k 3sec burst)
1300 LoH

Struggled in Act 2 if mobs were molten, arcane or fire chains (basically kiting non stop). I'll go back to Act 2 when I've got 25k unbuffed dps. So many times I'd have 1 or 2 of the mob on less than 5% HP and then I'd die with half a second left on whatever cooldown

Aw also got my monk to 60 on Friday and finished Act 2 (pretty much faceroll), but I need some more resists for Act 3

Stats (I'll try and remember, have to update later)

HP: 36k
Armor: +-5k
Dodge: 46% ? Cant really remember
Resists: +-530
Dmg: 19k (22k self buffed)
AS: 1.76 (Dual wielding with 2 x daggers)
Loh: 1500 (only have loh on my 2 daggers + 2.5% life steal, but that heals next to nothing in Inferno)

Woot! no probs, we must jam inferno again! how did the shopping go yesterday? Find a big axe? Getting that dps up is key, then finding a good monk/barb tank then = profit!

Bud last night was the first night I felt some sort of empathy for a monk.... I was actually quietly rooting for you...
If those stats don't cut it, I doubt my extra armour would mitigate that much. I was really hoping to avoid a shield in Act 2, so I'm obviously looking for around 800 - 1000 resists.
