D3: High Level Char Stats

So far I have stuck to Butcher runs as they are by far the fastest. What are the best runs in other acts on inferno?

Depends on what act you are capable of running in, and how many elites you would get in an hour

If you can get twice the elites per hour in Act 1 vs Act 2, then do act 1, and vice versa. Same applies to act 2 vs 3.
Act 1 -> the best runs are crypt, the leorics manor (go backwards 2 areas, look for the watchtower), festering woods, then you go down killing the jailer and butcher
Act 2 is -> (start on the kill kulle quest) alcarnus, sewers, black canyon mines (and the area next to it), desolate sands, look for vault of the assassin and one more cave, finish with kulle
Act 3 -> (start on siegebreaker kill quest) start with stonefort (forwards and backwards), then the area just before ghom, then siegebreaker all the way to Azmo.

I found the first paragon level took a longtime but it seems to have been a lot quicker to reach the next few.

Yeah I swapped my +% health gem in the head piece for a +% xp gained... cost me 3.5k hp but i am gaining 23% xp more so all and all a fair trade imo.

@Crusader
DPS looking much better now. Now you just gotta try putting more crit chance into your gear, while maintaining your crit damage. Like on your gloves, a 6% crit chance with only 20% crit damage will get you another 3.5k base DPS. And if you are feeling particularly wealthy getting another 200 dex total from somewhere would be another 7k DPS.
I can lend you my DH's pants tonight (150 dex, 200vit) to see how that extra damage feels (should be 4.7k DPS without changes to the rest of your gear).

I am trying to find a Chest piece with 130 vit, 130 int and three sockets. I just do not see them around for anything under 1.2 mil buy out. Is that a normal price?

With the three sockets... Could be right

Lol, and as I say that I find a 360 armour, 128 int, 140 vit, with 3 sockets for 300k :D

Going to gem it now and see what difference it makes.

Buffed thats 2.5kish more DPS and about 2k more Vit :)

Will give it a test run and see how it goes.

Yeah. It still needs lots of works. My all resists took a terrible hit too so I'm extra fragile. Don't have gold to buy gear so I'll have to hope something good drops.

Did anyone get a drop for the Dead Man's Legacy quiver recipe. I so badly want that... dreams on.

EDIT: ok i see the recipe is for the other one - black bone arrows.

I sold a similar one like that for 55 mill :P If my memory serves: 149dex, 59AR,190Vit, 50 Cold resist and 2 sockets

Stupid question, but this is something I can't figure out. How important is normal armor vs all resists? Let's say you have an item with 280 armor and 40 all resist and an item with 760 armor and no resists. Which one would be better to have?

10 armour = 1 resist

10 armour = 1 resist

The Chest piece I bought yesterday has 250 less armour than the previous one... I can feel that I am a tad more squishy, but I figured see as the Wiz is a glass canon in any case......

Recently?? I wouldn't pay more than a mil for that:wtf:

Maybe 1 month ago. That chest is pretty good for monks stacking cold as far as I know. One person from trade even told me he would gladly pay 100 mil for that if he had the gold. :erm:

Ah I forgot about the "one for all passive" or whatever its called, my bad, I've only got a level 30 monk that I haven't played in a long time

Question to some of the epic Demon hunters out their, do you still stack high crit chance even with sharpshooter? If so how much, atm my base crit chance is sitting at about 25%, wondering if it would be worth it to get it up to 40-50%?

When Crusader only stacked crit damage and he ran with us it felt like he wasnt doing much DPS (which was true since after the first shot his DPS basically dropped 70%, 100k -> 32k). Then he added 10 or 15% crit chance on his gear I can feel that extra DPS coming through (without SS he is around 50k iirc). So yes, from the perspective of the melee guy who is having has face bashed in, the base crit chance on your gear makes a huge difference. Keeps your true DPS much higher
