DA apologises for wrong crime stats

Simple logic here. Investigators have too many dockets sitting on their desks. Less crime equals less dockets on their desks which will allow them to be less over burdened.
They have too many dockets and cannot cope with the workload.
To solve this problem:
1 - Reduce the number of crimes using various methods with varying levels of success, including the use of the community members and businesses, and the use of private security firms, impress jailhouse lifestyles on the communities served, do your best to try to move the crime away from the area you're responsible for.
2 - Increase the number of people handling the workload, change restrictive legislation to enable the police to capture the criminals AND, most importantly, process the criminals and the evidence in our courts quickly.

It's really simple, getting one criminal out of the crime loop solves future crime from said criminal, turning suburbs into prisons creates prisons.

lol, myKKK, so quaint ...... I side so much with them that I RBP their posts too ..... are you a **** !

I dont think its really legislation, I mean, look at the world cup courts, we were able to prosecute within hours of the offenses committed(albeit petty crime). Do we have the the ability and resources to implement the world cup courts on a national scale? I really dont know myself.

Just out of interest, why is that racist?

Anti-ANC merely means someone does not support the ANC and right wing is a political affiliation. If this is the sort of stuff getting reported as racism now then I hold no hope for this forum.

Apparently he reports the other side as well, yet he doesnt make a comment after it from what ive seen (I could be wrong).

You forever claim to be against all forms of racism regardless of who's on the receiving end. Yet all I see you do is constantly siding with the myKKK, are you a hypocrite!

Now report that:mad:

This myKKK thing is seriously becoming a variation of Godwin's law. I can recall at least one thread that I was involved in, in which Mephisto_Helix RBP'd a dodgy post, so you're way off on that call.

You'll need to prove it, because I have only ever seen him rage against anyone who rages against racism. He probably should stay out of this sub forum & remain in TK accumulating posts or whatever it is they do there. Dude doesn't like it when people say this place is racist, says it's going down the tubes... but all that's happened is that the racism of old doesn't go as unchallenged as it used to be in the days of skinner.

How about taking your myKKK issues to a new thread and get back on topic here?

How would I prove it if the RBP'd post in question was deleted? It was a year ago and I doubt anyone had time to quote it because it got deleted pretty quickly.

Anyway, I'm going to back off from this thread so that it can get back on track.

That is a good point, and, we were lead to believe that that quick(er) judiciary system was to be implemented country wide.

But, back on topic, the DA made a mistake and heppologised, now, I want them to report the number of solved crimes, the court-backlog size, the evidence processing backlog size and their plans to solve these problems.

Dave, Dave, Dave! We have already discussed that these are totally separate stats. The public and media called for reported crime stats. These were given. I am sure the stats you seek are available if you seek them out. This forum is probably not the place to motivate to have these stats made (more) public. Contact your local politician as a starting point.

See from page 46 of part 1 of part 2. (Criminal - Lower Courts - from page 63)

The current year stats are not available yet.

At least they admit when things was wrongly reported.
..someone should go back and study stats again ..

I knew this Khayelitsha crime stats report by the DA was too good to be true, I guess we now know what kind of government the DA will be IF they are in power, a bunch of liars....

I'll tip my hat at the DA for at least admitting they were wrong before the opposition party had a chance to go on an expensive media campaign against them. But then that's usually the DAs tactic.

So you felt good that more people were killed!! The police who is paid by the tax money dished out by the ANC so effectively is working for the ANC could not do their jobs so you will be happy about that..

Your logic astounds me. Should they have kept quiet?
