DA makes first hotline complaint

I heard on the radio over 6000 people called during the first 3 hours.
It's a new service and it's going to take time for it to run smoothly.

Do we get a follow up tomorrow on which problems have been cleared up?

This is going to come back and bite Zuma in the butt, big time. It's a stick that he created to beat himself with. He should have kept quite about it. Mark my words

Totally uncalled for in my opinion. The DA just wants something to moan about. Criticize steps in the wrong directions, not teething problems with steps forward.

The DA have got a fat cheek! Have you tried complaining to the DA council. Never mind 80 minutes, more like 80 weeks. There's also no guarantee of a reply (ever)!!!!!!!!!!!!

TBH, I think the call center is a good idea but no matter how they set it up, that was a HUGE call volume!

the call center is a very good idea, but i can't help but get a feeling that becoz it's toll free, that it's going to be abused by angry public. just on O-fm yesterday i heard they were trying to get thru to complain about Malema not seeing the South African cricket team in

Lol. Have the put up that Stop sign for you, yet? :D

I voted for them but if this is not the media pulling things out of perportion i have to say this sounds like wet panties to me.

They did not think of it first so now they are sour.

Actually I had a reply very recently to an e-mail I sent more than 2 years ago on a similar theme.

From the reply, they clearly didn't even read the contents and have got the wrong end of the stick as well. This, sadly, is typical of council staff. Zille should be ashamed. Since she "shook" things up there it's only got worse.
