Actually, thats not the topic at all of this thread.. the topic of this thread relates alot more to the DA not being intimidated by the ANC.

You seem to be the only one who has this issue with the DA... everyone else seems to have a very different experience with the DA

That was always my problem with the Botox Zille and her little party.They always tell you:"The anc did this,the anc is so..." but they never focus on their solution for the country.

Before Cope,they always brag about being the leader of the opposition.That's all they will be and they know it.When Cope was born,too many cope headlines,so the DA "reborn themselves"...just to get some headlines too.Now they are talking about taking over the goverment in 2014...now that is what i call optimism.

All the da needs to do for a headline(or 2) is to say something bad about the ANC.They get their 5 secs of fame on the frontpage but they don't score any voters.

There is no DA party anymore,Zille becomes the DA.No one ever represent that party anymore other than her.Ask Patricia what happens with one face parties.

I have a feeling that its just a little nickname that a small clique of people have developed and are trying to push it at every chance they get, and currently seem to be failing quite badly.

You also clearly have a very limited understanding of how long a rebranding process takes, its not something thats done in a few weeks... That rebranding of the DA was in the process of happening way before COPE was formed.

And if you think there is no party without Zille, you're sorely mistaken... I seem to remember people saying the same about Tony Leon and how the party would shrivel and die without him.. and well its become even bigger and better under Zille, and I can guarantee you there are other candidates in the party that are as good as her. I actually know of at least one councilor in the Durban area that is just as good as she is.

Thanks for the honesty. The DA could use rebranding to reposition themself in the political arena,but instead they are hunger for publicity that does nothing for them.Clueless.
