Damn IE7!!!

As far as i know there is a "patch" released from MS that will block the IE7 download....

just let it download and install and get it over with. I mean it isn't as if you're using IE in the first place... right?

Ie7 screws up a lot of other stuff.... and is not compatible with a lot of secure websites aswell as some Java apps...

So my opinion... stay away from IE7 as long as you can....

To get rid of the stupid reminder go to windows update site and click the check box never to remind you again of this update.

Hope this helps...

support will eventualy stop for IE6, best get it installed and start working out the teething problems now, otherwise go with ekkesa's option

IE7 took many ideas from FF. FF with extensions is unbeatable.
adblock, leaching addons and noscript makes browsing enjoyable again.

I installed Windows Vista and it uses IE7 and I must say it is a very good browser. I've used a lot of browsers before, Opera, FireFox, Maxthon, Netscape, etc and they all have their pros and cons. I'm going to stick to IE7, cause it's simple, but effective:D

Another vote for IE7! :)

I like the tabbed browsing, phishing filter, magnifying glass in the bottom right corner, printing options + preview is SO much better than IE6...and much more. ;)

Oh! Come on!

Can you see a 0.001 sec difference when opening a webpage? Or are you guys talking about initial opening after a computer start/restart?

I'm talking about opera caching pages so that the back button is instant. try it for yourself.

As for firefox, it just slows down your computer too much, its too resource hungry IMHO
