Hi guys, the usage metres in my dashboard doesnt work and neither does the service on www.iburst.co.za (which tells you your bandwidth usage).

Any other way I can check it out and is it just me who has this problem or does everyone else have it?
Thanks Psy

You could try BWMeter to keep track of your bandwidth usage, or others like DU Meter.
I've found BWMeter useful over the past few years as it monitors internet usage seperately from local network usage as well as been easy to setup.

Hmm please tell me more!

hey, there is also netmeter

looks/works the same as bwmeter, just totaly free

I tried them all and found BWMeter to be the best of the bunch, but use whichever suits you and I'll stick with BWMeter.

Yes, also can't access bandwidth monitor!

*Isn't it a coincidence that we're close to the end of the month?

It's working but the total usage is stuck :/ Been the same since yesterday.

Jhbgirl, if you disconnect and reconnect it should update the usage.

Mine is working. Also this is my first month with iBurst and iv used 1.4GB and I have a G1 package and I havent been throttled yet?

Thats doesn't usually happen.. maybe its because its Christmas :)

They are pretty good with their capping.. unfortunately, you can get capped while your are connected, no reconnect necessary. :(

Make sure the Accounts Department didn't screw something up and added an extra gig or so to your account. That has happened to a number of people unfortunately. :(

ATM moment I've come to believe that the iBurst BW monitor is screwed......

In 2 days it have been down twice, [24/12/2006 & 25/12/2006].

Today around 12H00, I couldn't access the https://helpdesk.wbs.co.za to check my usage even though I've been over the limit of the monthly allocated BW.

Ja, you might be right. I'm pretty sure I should be capped by now, I only had 130mb left a day or two ago.

I cant seem to get onto it now? :/

Well its okay as I'm going at uncapped speeds, maybe everyone is for Christmas.

Don't be so sure about this new Christmas present. They were pretty quick fixing the last bandwidth allocation problem.
