I thought of turning off the audio on mine as well (too many dodgy conversations would be going on record :twisted:) but I then thought it might be best to leave it recording the audio.

E.g., what if you're ever caught in a situation where insults or threats are hurled at you in some road rage attack and you wished you had a recording of said insults/threats to use as evidence?

Or am I just being paranoid?

It makes sense to me to turn it back on now. Can always delete the audio track when I upload to YouTube.

From experience I do not treat the law with contempt. There may be something which I overlooked that could nail me so to speak.

I thought of doing this too because I'm usually swearing when I see somebody doing something stupid.

But you do want it turned on when you're pulled over by greedy, bribe-soliciting, corrupt pigs and that sort of thing.
 
Yes keep audio on! Very easy to remove the audio track afterwards...
 
Bastards! They were all sitting next to the road waiting for their spotter to call them to action. I would have jerked my wheel left and ridden over the guy.

Also don't recommend people buy this.

Mine has started going 'flaky' - worked perfectly for a couple of weeks, suddenly it doesn't autorecord anymore - fortunately it was relatively cheap.

Sigh - you get what you pay for I suppose....

Anyway, I quite like having a dashcam - time to get a good one.

Was looking at Dash cams again today! So badly want one!
