Dashboard Cameras

Esquire have a special on a Geeko model which has built in GPS etc. It's 720p but should suffice.
 
Hmmm that one over at Takealot looks quite decent. I think I am getting one too. Over the last few days the stuff I have seen on our roads is scary...

Yes it does, but you can switch it off if you don't want it. But I like it to record when the the car starts. For the price it seems to be one of the better units available at the moment, just had a now, but so far easy to setup. Will take it for many test runs next weeks
 
The go pro sucks as a dash cam by the way, its high maintenance (you have to switch it on and off everytime) and its not as good at night and is pricey compared to dashcams which have been designed for the purpose.

It will run of the lighter socket. I have a lighter socket in the boot of both cars. It automatically goes on when the car is started but also has a battery for motion detection when the car is parked.

That's convenient. Keen to see a review on your ebay purchase when you get it. There are so many of these OEM cams to choose from.
