Hey guys I bought this camera on a special from one deal a day

Seems to be the same.
The issue I am having is when recording with either plug in or no plug in from power, it records, everything is fine then the circle on the left top of screen goes yellow then it stops recording and then it starts a few seconds later this continues intermittently.
The user manual is useless, says the flashing yellow icon means its in the motion detection phase.
Anyone having similar issues?
