Hi guys

I accidentally deleted the partition on my external HD (was supposed to delete the partition on another HD) and now I've lost about 200GB of stuff.

Is there any good (possibly free) data recovery software that I can use to recover it?

Thanks

I have used software called Easy Recovery Pro 6. It is a 28 MB download on P2P, it is certainly not free.

Does it recover info even from formatted drives? Because after deleting the partition, I had to format the external so that windows could recognise it.

I stand corrected but i think that as long as you have not written to the disk since your that format you should recover most data.

Recover my files.exe

It is the best, my HD crashed, I did a format and afterwards thought what the heck.

Recovered the whole 280gig of my 300gig HD. Only problem you need to recover AND store the files on a different HD, even if you only want to recover one partition on the HD.

Good luck

P.S. Just get the serial for optimal use:D

Used a program called "Get Data Back", http://www.runtime.org/

It was the only software that recovered my 250gig worth of files when my Master File Table got corrupted. I went through at least 7 different recovery programs before using this one, and none of the other ones could even find the files let alone recover them.

Easy Recovery Pro seems to work, the only thing is it takes about an hour for every 30GB to recover.
