Hi guys,

Does MTN have roaming for data when traveling abroad. If so, how does pricing work? We're looking at solutions to remove frustrations from our execs when they travel. It seems that getting connected in other countries is a mission.

depending on the country yes we do, for more info on where we have gprs roaming agreements consult this link:

The java scripting seems broken in FF.

What is the status (and cost!) of data roaming in Botswana?

It might be easier to roam than to try and get Mascom sorted. :(

(Mascom charges P10/MB peak hours and P7/MB slow hours - ZAR1.20 about Botswana Pula 1.00)

its giving me hassles currently, will advise the powers that be that theres something wrong with their website currently, will let you know.

ok its back up now, checked the two roamomng providers and neither have gprs agreements, sorry :(

Orange (the other Botswana Cellphone company) does not have GPRS

The Mascom helpline told me last week I had to visit one of their support offices, and I was told there that the (GPRS) system is down, and I must come again next week please.

I could only think of the flames, thunder and fury such a response would have evoked in South Africa before I quitely accepted the fact and calmly left the Mascom offices for a very cold St Louis (beer).

We do have data roaming and if you want our GPRS rates I can also provide that to you PM with your email addy and I’ll provide you with a up-to-date GPRS and Voice Roaming list as well as the rates associated.
