Data sim for new Ipad

Hi

I'm awaiting my new ipad mini and would like a decent, small data sim for when i'm not at home or work. Cell C has a 3GB deal for R399. I went to a store and asked for it but the guy was useless. He couldn't communicate his point very well but he made it sound like it was impossible. He said there were 2 different sim cards, 1 for iphones and 1 for all other phones. He said he couldn't guarantee that if i got the iphone sim cut that it would work in the ipad.

anyone have a cell c sim in their ipad? is it really this complicated?

All iPhone sim cards are Micro Sim. (Besides the iphone 5)

iPhone 5, iPad Mini and iPad 4 have a Nano sim card, smaller than those of the older iDevices.

I have a Cell C microsim in an iPad2, works fine. Should also work in iPad4.

I have also loaded the 3GB data bundle on a Cell C for Real microsim, works fine.

Busy watching a movie, will test it in an iPad4 a bit later.
