HI all.

I have a friend whose brother works for SAA which entitles her to 75% off flights. I've heard that you can get something similar if you're involved with a flight attendant. Do you have to be married to them though? Anyone know anything about this? Do they get discounts for friends and family like on Cell C? It would be awesome, you get cheap flights and she's not around most of the time!

Well i'm not one just yet.. but AFAIK aircrew do get, yes. Not sure about FAs.

Afaik you have a list. Similar to Cell C's calling plan to friends and family.
Waiting for someone who knows better to post.

Need a low budget holiday overseas do you They do get concession for family etc. Can't say how much though

i get flight discounts internationally and domestic...so no need to date a airhostess or anything

When I was working for an airline, you could add whoever you liked as your "companion", unless you were married, in which case your wife/husband was automatically added. They were then entitled to the same rebates you were. Immediate family was also entitled to certain benefits, but not as much as you or your "companion".

The level of benefits depended on how long you had been there, and your position. Senior Captains obviously were entitled to more, than, say, lowly admin staff! .
