Datsun Go! Thoughts

Not sure how many pro racing drivers would be willing to put their lives on the line by driving a Go+. :p

Remix spotted

All that extra 'gilding of the turd' (An aero kit for the front, sides and rear of the vehicle, Rear roof spoiler, 15" alloy rims with Go centre caps, Front fog lights, Remote side mirrors with indicator lights, Datsun Remix special version name plate), and it STILL doesn't have BASIC SAFETY or COMFORT features fitted!

The balloon payment plus interest and admin fees are insane.

But mine has an airbag at least.

Anyone know how to make the rear seatbelts work in one of these death traps?

I'm on day two of driving one, just checked my life cover is up to date. Fortunately I got an update from the panel beater today that my car is in repair. Whatever that means, something good I hope.

Anyway, I'll post something pithy daily about the datsun as I go.

Oh, and the seats are the most uncomfortable things ever.

Still dunno how those seat belts work.

I like your new wheels! Lol

Anyhow the seatbelts are *not* inertia reel seatbelts.

They don't "go back" after you unbuckle them. Super duper old school!

Yeah, try getting them to work with a baby seat.

Oh, and after a near mishap yesterday, I can confirm it does not have abs.

For like R300.00 more per month my Tata Bolt has got airbags, ABS, automatic climate control, full colour infotainment system with Harman Kardon sound. That Datsun GO deal looks disgusting in comparison.

What's your residual?
