R160k!!!!!!
Nothing wrong with a rally version - I always said that about the Etios - it would make a great rally car - the same with the Go - use the shell sort out the motor and you have a flyer - no need for airbags or anything else, once the cage and strengthening is in. After all the rally car of choice in the 60's 70's and 80's was a Datsun - why not now?want to know a funny thing I saw at SA festival of motoring,
a rally version of this little matchbox.......
no back seats and standard engine, but off road tires and all the rest of it....
That's kinda harsh Mr F...it's a free market...people can buy what they want.
Just because their prioritize "safety" as a lesser importance that's their baby/beeswax.
Sarcasm or for real bro?
If real then yes indeed it is.

The Datsun Go is gunning for that Etios
In today’s day and age, questioning a car’s safety rating ranks high during the purchase cycle, however, studies have shown that almost all road accidents are a direct result of poor car maintenance, driving skills, as well as unfavourable road and weather conditions. Therefore, your car having a high NCAP rating is favourable, but this only takes into account how a vehicle will fare in a crash test situation.
The solution is not only to survive accidents but to prevent future accidents. The Datsun GO, ahead of the rest in safety, has been distinctively engineered to avoid real-life accident scenarios through innovative features. The Datsun GO is up for the challenge to make every day driving safer for you.
