Already in the workshop for repairs ?
 
Gawd, that interior looks even more horrible than the existing Nissan interiors. And those are pretty fricken terrible.

They are obviously training the mechanics etc, these Datsun's are just guinea pigs.
It's not to my taste either, but I guarantee you will start seeing alot of these on the road soon.
 
So this little car is now avaible in SA? Previously was only in India I think.

Guys, dont think this car is meant to be a babe/hunk magnet for you. It is aimed at the low cost market for people that normally would not be able to afford a car lol. They just want to get around, not impress their cherry or gherkin. lol.

The question must be asked though, will we see the very low prices for this little car as seen in India or will this be another case of the South African being ripped a new hole?

I've driven a nissan with a shifter in a similar position and it's quite comfortable. I dare say for cars without a center armrest that I'd prefer a shifter there than next to my thigh.
 
It's a cheap entry level run around, its not meant to be pretty and it surely won't be expensive either

Well with SARS and their 110% TAX on car imports all cars are more expensive than they should be compared to most other countries.... so it is not really always the manufacturers fault.

For example choose a car, check the price for the US check the price for SA and you will notice it is always around double the price in SA
