Day Zero : What will happen to us

The ‘privileged’, whichever colour, will cater to themselves, those unable to and ill-provisioned will have to collect water at the collection points or hope that they may pick up water at a reasonable price at whichever store or marketplace they may have access to. Water prices will skyrocket with little to no control, I predict much exploitation here. The poor will be hit hard.

I don’t see evacuation in any reasonable sense, your property will be ransacked in no time, not to mention the many other variables like schooling, work, etc. being compromised.

Everything else will continue as normal I guess… I only hope that we may avoid Draconian-type laws where the local authorities may access your property to take water, emptying your swimming pool, collecting at your borehole/well point, etc. heavy penalties being the alternative.

At the end, we all must save water accordingly which is also applicable to the municipality :whistle:
 
Rashied Staggie will reappear and the Hard Livings gang will "help out" at the water points.

Has anyone thought about the political aspect here? What if the ruling party is using this to destabilise the province and take over. Hence their lack of assistance and not doing a thing to prevent this. They are just as bad as the DA.

Ja, the ANC prayed to all the different Gods to keep the water away.
 
The guys working outside of the CBD, does your company have a contingency plan in place should day zero arrive?
