Bwwaaap! I can't connect to TS
Also when I try to get the whole server list it gives me an IP error. Would this not have anything to do with afrihost switching over to the MTN network, since I am afrihost?
Edit: Come guys get a server up. Screw TS.
Edit 2: Guys I won't be able to play until I get new RAM on Monday. There's just stuttering everywhere.![]()
pics...
Haha! Got to love that "toothpick" configuration. Need the runflats when you're lacking rubber like that.![]()
Login Logic and "Invalid Serial Number" message
Multiplayer Master Server and DCS/LO websites share one user data base. It's necessary serial numbers of all installed modules are activated and bound to one website account to login in multiplayer. To wit: Serial numbers of all installed modules are checked during logining in multiplayer. If even one serial number isn't bound to the current account there will be an error "Invalid Serial Number". Free serial numbers are automatically bound either during purchase on DCS website or during first login in multiplayer.
There is a solution for those who has serial numbers bound to different accounts. A special page where one is able to see serial numbers bound to the current account and to unbind them: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/myserials.php
To solve "Invalid Serial Number" error do the following for each of your accounts:
login on DCS website,
go to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/myserials.php
unbind all serial numbers.
Then login in multiplayer and all serial numbers of all installed modules will be bound to the current account automatically.
If serial number is unbound (free), it is automatically bound to the current account during logining in multiplayer. There is an important exception on it. During purchase on DCS website serial number is bound to the account on which one makes the purchase. Thus one has to enter multiplayer with this account. Secondly the purchases should be made from one account.
Serial numbers of box versions and of other webshops are free initially and are bound during the first login in multiplayer.
It concerns multiplayer only. It has nothing to do with activation or purchase records on the website.
Well thank the gods for that, this sorted it out in case anyone else trips up on this one, seems like a common issue.
Yoh, Syntax, you say you're getting new RAM on Monday? I would suggest you look at more or less quadrupling the amount you've got under the hood. 2.5 gigs will be murdered in no time.
Vlerk, how did the controls export go? Did it work?
Whew! Now to get some screenies of the hog flying in formo with the ol' bird eh?![]()
Guys, the groggies over at Les Grognards have been kind enough to let us use their TS server (up 24/7).
