DDOS attack aimed at Absolute Hosting Networks

@Rickster Im not aware of any 1-grid clients moving over to us so not too sure.

The attack is most definitely targeted based on the evidence that we have gathered over the last week and we're still actively engaging in our investigation.

Lots and lots of devices out in the internet that have some kind of nasty malware on them. They regularly check in to a control system.
The control system tells them to attack a certain IP or range
They then use various techniques to send as much traffic as they can generate towards the targeted system.
Targeted networks are completely overwhelmed.

Anyway, hope this gets sorted at soonest, i think the problem spike up lastnight already.
