Hi Guys,

I got the new iPhone on launch day with various complications.
I received a dead sim, only to have to go in again to replace it.
About a month ago I my sim card yet again died, receiving "no service".
Cell C was friendly and replaced the sim card for free.

However,

I have been unable to receive signal for the last day and i'm assuming that it is dead once again.

I'm tired of doing sim swaps in order for me to receive signal and actually use my contract.

I've resorted to using my Afrihost Sim in my phone for now, but no one can get hold of me and I leave for vacation tomorrow (this makes me super frustrated )

Does anyone know what the issue could be? Maybe the phone is broken and is somehow damaging the sims?

Please help.

Sounds like a CellC problem then.

Not much anyone else can do for you.

I'm keen to know why it keeps happening... is it dead or does it get cancelled?
I know the "cancelled" thing sounds weird, but I've heard it happen to someone - someone else had the number, they lost it, X SP gave it (recycled it) to another person - it was a back and forth cancellation type drill for ages and then it stopped.

Maybe that's what's happening here...
