Dead slow internet connection

Since this afternoon, my line has seriously been acting up. Browsing has been made near impossible as it has been constantly disconnecting, and if it isn't its running at snail speed.

Tried multiple ISPs and all the same result. Wanting to know if anyone else is having these issues. Think it may be related to my locations: Cape Town - Pinelands.

Sorry for double posting, it took me 50 min of constant reloading just to find that I posted it under the wrong section. Mod can you please delete the one under ADSL ISP.

I have been having exactly the same problem since about 4pm yesterday (3rd June) afternoon. Also in Pinelands Capetown.
 
Same problem, I'm in Pinelands as well. Took me about 10 minutes just to log in and make this reply.
 
I reported it to Telkom and they said it was a known problem at the Pinelands exchange and would be fixed today. Right now its looking better, so lets hope it is fixed permanently.
 
Telkom admitted to there being problems?

YASUS - how the tides of change do come - MWEB better take a hint and start doing this too!
 
Stupid connect speeds in Bryanston.

Decided that Telkom are in the same category as Eskom and City Power - they lie.
 
I'm in Johannesburg and have had this problem for the past 2-3 weeks after there was an outage at my exchange.
I've had 3 calls from telkom, the 2nd one told me "it sounds like congestion" and said it would be fixed. Today when they called and I told them it was congestion, the lady said there's nothing they can do about it.
 


Looks like things are back on track, but I wouldnt say it is perfect again.
