If when trying to see the full 2 weeks on the TV Guide, you then get these typical wave-like lines, here's a possible fix:

Try narrowing down the Genre.... after a few seconds the whole 2 week period worked for me, but with time gaps where the genre didn't fit.

This suggests a memory problem on their server. Wow, that's backwards for such a major African service o_O

Did the sound die for anyone else on channel 401 (CNN)? It started on Wednesday, and it's still the case. All the other channels work fine. I've never experienced such a specific channel issue before.

Could general service somehow be getting worse??

Example: EasyView

via decoder - no eNCA news channel despite it being free to even non-subscribers on DStv Stream.

via DStv Stream - both Chinese channels missing, Portuguese channel added, Russian news channel added (which doesn't work for anyone on DStv), 139 movie channel present but stream not working.

Bunch of clowns

This is Africa - it is the way

Streamed side of Compact package has 215 Motorsport added(?) today, no idea if a mistake or some sort of bonus.

Apparently done intentionally - was announced on Twitter or something, but nothing on their website.

So I guess this is a new part of the survival formula; just a taste of sports like the Italian Grand Prix.

Hi All, we were able to login and stream the rugby match on Sat, but since 01 Sep, we only have access to 4 channels. Has this happened to anybody else, or does anyone else know how to fix this?

If not a missed payment then suggest you contact the call centre, it sounds like your package has been reset and is only offering the free channels. You may need a manager, which would likely require you being most insistent - good luck.

DStv Stream (on Android TV) kicked the stream out of an episode I'd elected to watch from the beginning (few minutes ago).

They need to soon solve their technical streaming issues that started yesterday.

Eish!!

Still ongoing ...
To their credit, it's happening less than yesterday / last night.

Tonight will be the real test for me, as want to watch 3+ hours straight on one channel (strange as it may seem to others).

For your sake, I hope they don't drop you.

Our infamous online TV Guide has been really bad the last week or two, some mornings not working at all.

Good news: a fix that usually works for me, sometimes even finding missing content - go instead to a neighbouring country's site and select the guide from there. (Not Mozambique.)
Linky for Namibia: https://www.dstv.com/en-na , and then click on Watch or Explore to find the guide.
Their 102 M-Net Africa is currently identical in content to our 101.
Note that it can weirdly take a minute or so to load the guide, but then okay.

Why does theirs work better than ours? I think they have less channels, so less memory use their side.

Bad news..... for Multichoice staff: If your Canal+ bosses see this thread (and they will be encouraged to) , some of your jobs are going to go boom.

The worthless Kante do not deserve the jobs they have.

@BouncyNinja have you ever come across this one?

My DSTV Explora 1 has started showing error U01 then reboots when paused on Catchup playback.

Not a regular Explora error, suggest you take it in, main branch usually better than an agency. If you have another decoder(s) take that with. But label your cables first.

I finally got a photo of the error u-01_HWM please see the image below. I checked on my other decoder Explora 2 and it gets the exact same error so I think this is a firmware (software error as two different decoders Explora 1 and Explora 2 have the same error, I thought it could be that the hard drive was full but the Explora 2 the hard drive is empty. I don't know about going to DSTV with this error as just my luck it will not give the error straight away.
