Dear Valante...

Do I detect some sacrilege towards SA's (not mine*) favorite gaming mag?!

* Seeing as I read reviews online and pretty much only pick up mags when they are free (like at rAge :p), I don't really bother either way.

Call it what you will!
NAG is seen as the favourite mag only because we are so used to being fed crap that we get used to it and think that it is cake, which is a lie! :D

Good man! +1 for everything you have said so far about NAG!

As an aside - its a bargain to get the latest drivers and a few cool trailers for R30. save tonnes of bandwidth. :D

I get the dvd from a friend of mine that buys the mag and then watch the videos.

I bought that mag since the first issue but can't remember why and when I stopped. Must be since thr day I could visit proper gaming news sites and hardware review sites every day rather than waiting for a month to catch up on what is going on in the gaming and hardware world. At least they got the DVD with some goodies for those who can't download it.

The best is metacritic:

Scores and reviews for a game are averaged form all other sites.
Does give a very true and unbiased rating IMO.
