Decent game to buy?

I seem to be in need of a decent game. Preferably an FPS, but if any of you have some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. ;)

Oh and i have Cod 4 and crysis.
 
You know what I hate about gamers ? they always wanna play the latest games , most technologically advanced like crysis , Well I think the Gems of the past Like deus ex 1 and 2 and System shock are better than crysis.

and Doom 3 released in 2004 not just a game but an experience.
 
The Witcher (with it's patches installed) is a very good game. Not a FPS. More a hybrid between a Action RPG and a Hardcore RPG.

Excellent Story and lots of playable hours.
 
UT3 if you like me and love good looking mindless shooters :)

I completely agree with you, alot of the new games that are supposed to be so good and supposedly have all these amazing new things in them aren't nearly as good as claimed or as good as their zealous fans think.

I was very disappointed by Doom 3 at first, it could have been so good, but after getting over it not being the game I was hoping for I do enjoy it now.

Crysis doesn't come close to Deus Ex or System Shock. Infact I played System Shock 2 more recently than Crysis and enjoyed it more. In case you don't know there's some nice mods for System Shock 2 that enhance the graphics and models, great if you're a fan of it thinking of playing it again.

I played System shock at the beggining of last year I never finished it because I got near the end and the save file got corrupted , I have the mods I even have the patch to play it multiplayer and would to find someone to play it with from start
