Decent In ear buds

I never said skullcandy were the best. Can you guys point to a similar priced that are much better.

PS music isn't something that I just listen to but have a passion for.

I think people are not aware there is grey/fake Skullcandy products that can be bought from the flea market or roadside vendors which will underperform, therefore creating a bad impression on the authentic Skullcandy products that can be bought at proper stores. I've bought mine from Kalahari and have been pleased with them for the price I've paid.

Lol all you want. The OP wants something on a budget and Skullcandy is an option under R300. :)
He might as well throw give that R300 to a hobo for some short lived happiness.

Skullcandy are the best buds you can get under R300. I've got the Riot edition and they are lasting me for 4 years now. The sound is just as good as anything I've heard from Senheiser in the same price range. Another bargain is the Philips from Dion Wired.

This isn't TK section or you just trolling constructive debate?

Did you see all my posts in here?
I gave many very informative suggestions.

Did you even read what the guy wrote?
I was laughing at his assumption that because he buys SkullCandy from Kalahari, it must be better than the ones we say are terrible.

Either way, they are crap.

Pfft, Skullcandy buds sounding as good as the CX 300-II, you sound like someone who bought the wrong earphones and are now trying to justify them. My own experience (anecdotal as it may be) is that Skullcandy products (of which I've tried many) are terrible in every measurable way.

Have them as well. Awesome quality for the size and price.

Bass is much deeper than expected for such small drivers but stays well controlled. I used them on MyCiti bus for several months where ordinary headphone fail to drown out the ambient sound.

I'm just a listener to music but an enthusiast all the same. So I've got a few different buds and phones from the Skullcandy Ink'd to B&W P5.

I used the Skullcandy Ink'd for excercise and they stayed in pretty firm and were certainly worth the money for build quality and sound quality. People look down their noses at them for some reason (trying to be snobs I guess) but they are a great sounding bud for the money and durability.

Only reason I stopped using them is because I saved my pennies and got some Bluetooth Sennheiser MM400-x which are really beautiful for sound and convenience while exercising.

I carry the cx300-ii in my pocket and love them also for that they are.

Different solutions for different situations.

Don't know about all of Skullcandy's products, but the Ink'd buds are great value for money imho.

Those are not the first pair of Skullcandy's that I bought, the last ones was bought from Kalahari therefore I mentioned them... I've also purchased them from Dion Wired, Incredible Connection, and there's a stand in Gateway outside CNA that used to sell them and neither of them disappointed. I did buy them from the Pakistani guy in Central Durban for R50 and those are fit to go in the bin as you've stated. The only reason I've always bought them is they are around R150 and they give decent sound for the price in my opinion - I'm not the only one that feels that they are decent in this thread.

I disagree, you can get Sony/Yamaha/Philips buds that outperform them for similar prices. I look down my nose at them because they're ***.

Am with the others on this thread, the CX-300IIs are excellent
