Decent In ear buds

I use those exact ear buds on a daily basis at work to listen to music.
They are excellent.

I bought mine from look n Listen but they also had them at Incredible Deceptions.

Awesome, will go and buy a pair then :)

See them at Incredible for R599 -

Also are they loud? Do they distort at higher volumes?

No.
I consider myself an audiophile and produce music with an expensive set of Headphones.
I often use these just as a reference test for my Master mixes.
They have decent bass output, nice sound stage and are more than loud enough.
I never go full volume and even then I don't remember it ever distorting.
Good, crisp, warm sound.

Fantastic, thanks!

Had a bit of a browse and also saw these -

R100 less at R499 and they seem a good fit as they wont fall out when I run and gym?

What would you recommend stick with the CX ii or give these a bash?

I don't really think the ear buds will fall out but I may be wrong.
I've used them mountain biking and even when I crashed, the one was still in :)

The ones you posted are the old ear bud style which rest against the exterior and don't fit into the ear.
I find they hurt quite a bit after a while.

Will opt for the Cx ii if that is the case.

Thanks for the advice bud :)

Will post my thoughts after giving them a bash this evening.

With in ears, its always difficult to find ones that have really nice sound and deep bass. I've bought these from DionWired for under R200,
http://www.philips.co.za/c-p/SHE8500_10/in-ear-headphones

It worked so nice Ive bought another set week later(just for spare), and it was on special for R100.

My only negative comment would be the stiffness of the thin wires, some wires have this flexible silicone feel to it, and this is more stiff, maybe some use would make it more flexible, but the sound quality and feel make it worth it.

This model doesn't come with mic.

Look fairly decent, going to give the Sennheisers a bash though.

I've got the same Philips ones for over 2 years now.

Buying a pair of earphones is not a trivial thing there is so many choices out there , I got my fiancés father a pair of those Promate earphones from the esquire milnerton branch , lightweight and sound quality is awesome for the price

They currently on special

Ok well went to incredible connection, they had no CX 300 ii :(

Bought the OMX 185's as I need headset for this evening, will give my view after testing them.

Well Guys used the OMX185's for a total of 2 days, great sound quality, beautiful clarity. However my ears were sore within minutes.

Have returned the OMX185's and will give the CX 300ii a bash.

Electron you know your stuff!
