Decoder update issue?

My Dstv decoder HD Model 4U is having update issues.Every day it tries to do an update.It gets to a white screen and then says downloading.It gets to 6s and then i get this error 0x87 Front End Lock Failed.
Phoned dstv support they cant help me.
Any ideas on how to solve this?(Ive just been clicking cancel,and not update and im able to watch for 12 hours until the decoder tries again.I have tried manual update same issue).
Please advise?

I have the same problem. This happened after a DSTV installer changed the LNB. One of the DSTV call center drones told me this issue is caused by that new LNB. My installer says it is not. So every now and again I have to take it to my installer's shop where they manually update the software. I ended up buying a new decoder and now it does the same.

What I need now is to update this firmware manually but I cannot find information on where to download it from.

My installer told me it's on the DSTV website somewhere and I can apply the update on the decoder using a USB drive.

Anyone know where I can download the firmware/software updates from??

Yea i had to take it to the Multichoice HQ in Umhlanga and they were able to do it there.
They say it may have to do with signal

I've never seen or heard of it being available on their website.
