I wondered if anyone has acquired one of these new beauties from Dell yet?

If so, what's the rating/ opinion/ usability like...we could ask our suppliers but getting first hand user experience is more detailed and accurate...

Thinking of getting one for the road........ yes, no?

Apart from the [-]possible[/-] probable impending signature violation infraction why are you advertising them there if you dont know much about them?

I thin the 12 is underpowered and to big....

Basically a 12inch netbook......

rather bet a 12inch notebook... or a 10inch netbook......

Thanks Greggpb -will keep that in mind

@ Bwana - we sell over 10 000 products. We don't use them all. I heard it's a good machine especially since it's got 3G built in. I'm sorry, I thought the countries most informative and ultimate resource (MyBB) would be a good place to enquire on user opinions. As all buyers, I'm not going to buy something without getting feedback or reading user reviews on it.

Thanks nonetheless.

8K doesn't really make sense to me considering you get an a Z-series Atom processor which is actually slower than the already slow N-series Atom. Coupled with a 1.8-Inch 4200 RPM hard drive you're looking for a frustrating experience with Vista. That said, with XP or Linux this could be a great machine if it was only a bit cheaper. Considering you can get a nice laptop (although larger) for that price it would be hard to justify this smaller version.

Also, I find Dell to often be quite expensive on lower volume stock so it might be worth waiting for the 12" Samsung Netbook as it could be better priced. Considering you can buy an Acer Aspire One for 2.5K at Incredible it's going to take a lot to justify the extra cash for not a huuuge amount extra with the Dell.
