index value of the first item in a ListBox...hmm pretty sure its 0...

In that case the last value would be(lstModify.Count ) -1 ....

Three last questions and ill try leave you guys alone:

1. What is the index value of the first item in a ListBox? ( i assume '1')
2. What is the index value of the last item in a ListBox? ( i assume lstModify.Count )

3. What is the data type of the items that MAY be stored in a listbox?

Listbox starts at 0 therefore

If MyList.Items.count>0 then
For i:=0 to MyList.Items.count-1 do

Listbox ends at Listbox.Items.count-1

If you leave out the if part then its crashes if the listbox is empty

Type of data = string up to 4gb each. For other types use arrays

The final practical is due on 23 May 2008. Students do not have to attend this practical session.

HOWEVER...

Students are required to attend the practical session this week. Students must have started working on Practical 9 and must make use of this time to ask the assistants for help on any work they do not understand.

Attendance is compulsory and will be taken into consideration when marking Practical 9.
