Democratically elected thieves ruining Nozizwe's life

CapeTonian, let's face it, your hero - the Health Minister - is a convicted thief who stole from patients and doesn't even deny it. It wouldn't be so bad if she had some other positive qualities - she does NOT!. In fact she is a severe liability. If the Sunday Times can help in getting shot of her, then all the better.

Okay, this is what I think of Zille's letter:

1) HIV+ patients in SA ARE receiving ARV's from government agencies, but Zille claims that the HIV Clinicians Society has questioned these figures. So, if this letter she writes, contains evidence, then where is the evidence from the HIV Clinicians Society? Zille mentions "investigations" - where are the court-admissable evidence resulting from those "investigations"?

2) The rest of the letter is opinionated, subjective comments on events as seen out of Zille's perspective. They do not bear the slightest resemblance to any form of "evidence".

3) "Tuberculosis is another area where the minister has failed to exercise proper leadership." and "Little more than half of all tuberculosis patients are cured in South Africa, multi-drug resistant TB is on the rise and the government seems unable to address the disease." do not constitute "evidence". I do not see how you can bring the one as reason against the other, and call it "evidence".

4) "Our country has also been waiting for four years for regulations allowing nurses to prescribe certain medicines, including ARV's. Still no action has been taken. " - so what? Does everyone expect this to happen overnight? South Africa is a booming economy, rising from the ashes of Apartheid - delays of this sort is nothing out of the ordinary.

President Mbeki would be a fool to retract his and Manto's leadership abilities, to listen to this drivel.

If you do not think it is drivel, let's discuss :)

*Alledged* clean up of hospitals before minister Manto's visits.

Etc.

Please prove these serious allegations. Otherwise, I stand by our president's decision, and that is to ignore these pitiful attempts.

Plenty of sources if one bothers to look - the Daily Dispatch being doing a great job.

"Yesterday, staff at Frere Hospital said that the Ante Natal Clinic, admissions and other sections were being painted, while the maternity labour wards and the nursery were being thoroughly cleaned.

“Things in here have been hectic all day, cleaners were told to make sure the place is spotless before the minister and her delegation arrives,” said a nurse.

During a Daily Dispatch visit to Cecilia Makiwane Hospital in Mdantsane yesterday morning, an assistant director, who was unaware of the Dispatch reporters’ presence, requested staff in the C1 ward to fetch glass jugs from store rooms and “fill them with water and place them, together with glasses next to patients’ beds”.

The big clean started earlier in the week when the complex’s acting director of clinical governance, Dr Gerald Boon, issued a memo requesting staff at both hospitals to be on their best behaviour and to ensure their uniforms and name badges were clean during Tshabalala-Msimang’s visit."

Not evidence admissable in any Court of South Africa unless the staff's comments were obtained by means of sworn police statments.

As far as "evidence" goes, these comments, as posted in the newspaper, mean NOTHING. And I am sure that president Mbeki is exactly aware of this.

Its a slippery slide.... Zimbabwe v2.0 ... New and Improved! here we come

Sit back and watch the ANC split, and then back to tribal infighting of 100 years ago.

Sharpen your Asegai's people! .. brace for the end of SA Democracy! Its gonna be bloody.

What the hell? Capetonian688 is still around? Figures - the trolls never get banned.

Capetonian688, I had honestly thought you stopped whining and feeling sorry for yourself because you were born black. Shame, poor little guy isn't happy with making a living in South Africa, so he sods off to Europe, then still has the audacity to bitch and whine and support the ANC when the ANC is doing a WONDERFUL job of making a mockery of this country and its people.

Wake up - stop supporting the ANC just because they're "black" because if that's the ONLY reason you support them then, guess what - that makes you the equivalent of a baboon. Oh, wait, was that a racial slur? I'm sorry, it's so hard to tell these days. I apologise if it was.

If you gave a flying sod for South Africa and its people, you would open your mindless little eyes and stop acting like a baboon and give a flying sod about the people of this country and see that this government is an insult to its people. NOT because they're black, but because they don't CARE.

If the only frikkin excuse you can come up with for SUPPORTING the ANC is because they're black and because they were "democratically elected" then guess what - you're exactly like those AWB bastards that you hate so much.

If you are a South African, then you will care NOT about the government, but about its PEOPLE. You are a disgrace as a South African, and an even bigger disgrace as a black South African because YOU should be the one standing tall for the people and vying for equality!

What was done to Ms Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge is a DISGRACE and an OUTRAGE! If you are too blind to see that, then you are a mindless fool without a semblance of care or consideration for this country and its people. You of all people have NO right to talk.

I've said this to you before, and I will say it again - grow up. If that's too difficult, then sod off to Zimbabwe where you'll be right at home.

I ask again, are you aware of anyone that want to drop bombs on Europe?

This is highly confidential, but there's "evidence" that Msimang and Mugabe (M&M) are allying to drop a nuclear bomb on your house...they know where you live [scary eh?] .

I suggest you get the CIA and FBI involved and ask them to use those "black choppers" of theirs to secretly come and airlift them off this continent....the quicker the better. Any european agencies that can help to get this done faster will help greatly in saving this continent from further embarrassment.
