Denmark Wants to Dump Microsoft Software for Linux, LibreOffice

Large corps man, a lot of people are hired as button pushers and that is all they know, they know how to push a button and they do it for twenty odd years. Change the button and it's like wtaf :-(

I find its easier to throw out the entire thing and make them start from scratch than to make small changes here and there. Like you say people really are bad at change and will go through all the emotions like a loved pet died suddenly just because you added a new checkbox.

I've been asked by HR to not do that anymore... Also cannot ask them if they are stupid, even though I never directly asked it, I implied it.
A more HR friendly term might be along the lines of "exposed the need for change management", preferably changing to a different company.

For the button pushers or the guy who changes the colour?

I dunno man. I'm not paid to sit on Teams all day, but the handful of times I use it I find the layout changed again for no readily apparent reason. They seem to just move options and hide them elsewhere. In some cases they split the function out into separate options you now have to select collectively correctly to get the desired effect.

Frustrating having to look up how to do something now hidden 3 menus deep split into 3 separate options that was absolutely intuitive before. Full screen function. I can't for the life of me figure out now how to get Teams to just go FULL screen like it used to. Like the screen being shared is my entire screen. Instead it wants to keep menu bars etc. hanging about eating up screen real estate for no reason.

Sometimes a UI change can be frustrating and seemingly pointless.

I'm not talking about a massive change like that, where I could understand. I'm literally talking about changing the buttons colour.
The funny thing is that most people didn't even know the theme was customisable anyway either.

I guess the question is why was there a need to change the colour in the first place?

Originally people moaned it blended too much into the dark theme. Forgetting they could change the theme.

Guess their Pcs are from the stoneage and they cant go to Windows 11 hahahahaha

They could change the theme :) at anytime, just because the default is dark doesn't mean you need to live with it

Sure, sadly not the case everywhere. This obsession with shitty ass non-scientific utterly pointless dark mode drives me nuts.

In this case Dark mode is actually aesthetically better and more in line with the companies actual colours :). It's not your proper dark mode, but labelled as such cause the other mode would look like Mybroadband

How else am I supposed to outwardly show everyone how much edgy and hip I am without dark mode.

These days people under 35 years of age say 'sick'. You should say something is sick, if it's hip.

Nope.. Hip and sick are not the same thing regardless of what the youth claim.
