Hi

I hope you can assist.

We run a self-catering agency in Cape Town and some homes don't have internet.

The best way to provide it is 3g data distributed via WiFi through the house.

This is the ideal modem and I we already have a few but there's no stock of the B68A http://www.cyberconnect.co.za/Huawei-B68A-3g-router

The only thing in stock similar is the b315 at R2014 http://www.firstshop.co.za/huawei-b315-lte-4g-wireless-router?

It does not have to be the same.

Something like this can also work but I am worried about strong wifi http://www.takealot.com/tp-link-3g-...0mah-power-bank-internal-3g-mode/PLID40401674

Or this one that's about R1500 http://www.takealot.com/tp-link-3g-mobile-wifi-modem-power-bank/PLID38533221

Thanks

Thanks. Appreciated.

I was hoping not to do the dongle. But I get the idea going for dongle plus TP-Link 3G Routers would be more cost effective than all in one.

Check out the TP-Link 3G Routers, they work well.
They available from Uniterm Direct, Prices are listed ex vat on the site. http://www.dbg.co.za/index.php?cPath=55_155_156

Try either MR3220 or the MR3420, You'll also require a USB dongle that plugs into the router..

I have a fist get MR3420, in my experience they were not very stable. It frequently disconnected and I often needed to reboot the router. The problem could have been could have been the HUAWEI E1752 3G modems that I used in it tough.

My Huawei B315 is much more stable. I never have to reboot it.

Maybe look at these cheap contracts if you are looking for a potable (mifi) router:

Cell C - 5GB anytime + 15GB midnight data + Huawei E5573 (LTE Mi-Fi) at R99 per month.

Telkom - 5GB + Huawei E5577 (LTE Mi-Fi) at R99 per month.

I really like the built in slot for the sim in the B315. And the strenght of the WiFi signal.

Hi

We manage many Cape Town owner's home for them and market them on Airbnb, Booking.com and many other websites. The marketing is the easy part if you know what you do but remote owners battle to manage their homes with guests arriving departing etc.

These cheap contracts are really cool. I like that.

My ownly concern would be the strenght of the MiFi signal.

For a two bedroom home it may be fine but for large homes it may become a problem.

Then I may want to use MR3220 or the MR3420 Tp-link or something to boost the signal.
