Developer Registration in South Africa!

So, while browsing the App Hub today I noticed that South Africa was an option to select for registration!
Go check it out!

Cool! Explains why they went down yesterday!

Edit: My App Hub account is create! Sweet! Don't know how the payment thing will work since I am not supposed to pay because I registered on Yalla Apps. Will keep you posted on my account.

I tried registering, but it couldn't verify my dreamspark account. Guess I'll try again later.

When i set my pc's region to SA zune doesn't show the marketplace, so i guess I'll wait till I hear something thats official.

Seriously though, I migrated my account to SA and the marketplace is gone :'(. F!#%
 
Sweet! I'm registered now. Hello actual testing on the phone! :)

No marketplace access, though, and it seems South Africa isn't eligible for the beta of Mango either (unless I missed it somewhere).

Did you hear anything about payment yet? I'm also registered with Yalla and want to move over to App Hub but can't find any information on how I'm supposed to do that.

Ah, no - not cool :/ I guess you may as well try out the Mango beta now (going to have to wipe your phone anyway if you want to change accounts).

I've read that the developers have to choose for their apps to show up in the extra marketplaces, so it will probably take time for the devs to do that. Hopefully it wont be too long now.

It doesnt even show an empty marketplace, just a message that it's not available in my region.

Well they initially said after 20 July wich was yesturday so I suppose it should happen within the next few days.

Gives some good insight and hopefully that means our marketplace will be unlocked also:
19 new consumer markets. Starting today developers can publish their apps to consumers in 19 new countries, in addition to the 16 that Marketplace already supports. The 19 new markets include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden and Taiwan.

Also saw on twitter some people in SA were able to add SA card details on Marketplace after switching the account to an SA account. Some other guys did it and initially his marketplace was gone, but it came up after a while. Will try and see if I can find the tweets
 
I got an e-mail from Yalla which explained what I must do and then an e-mail about an hour later saying that I should ignore the first e-mail. They will let us know by tomorrow as to how to switch over to App Hub.

Yeah, I heard the following from them:
@Tadimsky Hi Jonno; znaczki we are working with App Hub on this and will be making an announcement soon.

Oh, haha :) What's your name on Twitter? Thanks man :) - still waiting for the prize though (so much paper work and stuff they have to do it's crazy).

I'm quite surprised that you haven't got your phone yet. I'm solitudesa on twitter. I don't tweet much though, mostly just read other tweets.
