That's what they do unfortunately, as if TDD is the be all and end all of everything. Its a methodology, if you can code you can learn it.. I don't quite get the reason why they have to do this.

Have been working with a company based in Dublin for over a year. Great bunch. They come over for 4 days every month and we interact daily over Skype/Webex

But their mortgage rates are way better than SA. Its all relative.

However, Dublin is one of the most expensive cities in Europe, but thats a generalisation. You can find affordable accommodation in a decent area if you do some investigation. Same can be said for any city in Europe.

And while it is expensive, the prices are stable and dont fluctuate because they dont the same inflationary problems SA does. Price stability is a very big plus when comparing living costs in SA to any European city.

It is however a significant cultural change.

True. You cannot sit in South Africa and look at rent and property prices. It's like comparing apples and cows.
