I could...quit my job, start training, buy mountain climbing gear, book a flight, organize a climbing party, climb Everest, climb back down, bang thirty chicks, join a spy agency, train hard, get promoted, assassinate a dictator, get fired for sleeping with the colonel's daughter, write a book about my experiences with the agency, uncovering and exposing their secrets, go to jail for it, get out of jail, buy a Coke, drink the Coke, and Blizzard STILL will not be done with Diablo 3.
 
Maybe they're waiting for you to finish doing all that stuff saffa. Get a move on!

Wait, you want a company that takes +- 11 years to develop follow up games to release D3 in the same time period as they release ep2 and 3 of starcraft II? Lol. I think we will only see it once S2E3 is here.

Or take 10 years to create a game that looks and feels as lame as Starcraft 2 :p CoH feels 10 years ahead of sc2, yet sc2 is 4 years newer. Something aint right... oh I forgot it's for the fanboys :D

fanboy here. funny though, blizzard is like the U2 of games. because all the games they release are awesome, they always become bestsellers, and people complain about it all the time. if EA did things the way blizz did, they might actually release something that isnt crap

Well after 10 years or however long it has been, SC2 feels almost exactly the same. Now how the hell can it take this long to create something with pretty visuals and crap physics etc etc. In 10 years they could have done so much more! Only conclusion I come to is that the game was only in development for 2 years then released, but that wasn't the case.

Not to even mention one campaign. "oh but it's much longer and blah blah blah", for some that want to play the other campaigns it does matter.

Yup don't wanna create a game for those millions and millions of fanboys out there. Lets target a new market.

Frankly starcraft 2 was exactly what I wanted. I don't want a radical reengineering. Ea made that mistake and look at the giant pile of crap that is command and conquer 4.

No Diablo 3 GAAAH!!

Im getting in my freaking car, driving to BT Games, and knocking the dork behind the counter's lights out!
 
I am not surprised by this. This is typical Blizzard. It's why their in-game CGI movies are the best ;) These guys take their time to ensure everything is 100% down to the last pixel before they release anything. Activision can learn from this. On the other hand, it's not fair to "announce" a release date just to postpone it again. I just hope for their sake it's worth it.
 
Just as long as they implement hardcore mode, they can take as long as they want. but no hardcore and i would totally emo out:o

Otherwise alteast the encounter announcement is something to nibble on for time being
