Seems like we are at the least, two years or so away, and no doubt this was rushed after the Immortal fiasco. That being said, I would hope that the company has at least realised what the core Diablo fan-base want, in a general sense (in relation to D3: grittier, less focus on that set bullshit, a broader endgame and deeper character customisation and build diversity, etc).
Personally, I'd really just appreciate a new entrant into the ARPG market. In recent history, the only ARPGs I've truly derived enjoyment from have been modded D2, Grim Dawn and PoE. I did enjoy D3 for a while, and it had some enjoyable moments, but no depth or longevity at all, for me (especially as I have absolutely no competitive desires when it comes to games like this).
If there are any other ARPGs I should be trying, let me know (although I am pretty sure I've given everything available a bash, as it's my favourite genre of game).
