Edit: Oh wait, just read properly - the wings are a cosmetic for D3 - that's not worth pre-ordering for - thought the wings were for D4.

I'm presuming that D3 will wither on the vine once D4 is up and running.

I think it will always have a loyal (albeit small) fanbase but whether Blizzard continues to support and/or maintain servers remains to be seen.
