With all the money he made on his yearly salary plus bonuses, he can live like a king in another country and buy citizenship.... wouldn't have to worry about the ANC putting out a hit on him..

Do political parties get such protection? Are they considered a person? On the other hand they're called crooks hundreds of times a day and there is plenty of actual evidence of involvement in other criminal activity. Hence why de Ruyter's accusation is entirely plausible. It would be interesting to see what the courts make of a claim by the ANC that they have a good reputation to be protected.Technically the ANC. Defamation can apply to any recognized entity I think, : human , trust, company , organizations. Its a civil matter though not criminal. They only criminal lability would be through FICA laws etc but if he did report it to his superiors as he said and has declared the knowledge in a affidavit that seems to be floating around ( its supposedly from last year though ) , as well as convening a independent investigation due to alleged collusion/prevention by other parties ; he has done his due diligence.Do political parties get such protection?
