So...

I am once again unable to use my Telkom ADSL.
iBurst was already capped though, so have been waiting patiently for today (the 1st of November) so I can get more bandwidth for iBurst so I do not have to browse on my super slow phone.

So guess what, I dial up to iBurst, try load a page and nada. Loads as if I were capped.
Hmm, this is strange.

Disconnect, reconnect, exit the terminal, reopen the terminal...
Nope, still doing the same, login to check my bandwidth and I have used nothing and do not have any bandwidth?

Is it just me? How do I get it sorted out?

Thanks

I have the same problem, but they say this...

"Thank you for your patience while we upgrade our systems."

i've had it before on the first day in the new month, guess we'll just have to be patient

/goes and waits patiently

Hmm, rather irritating :-/

So some have the same problem, some people's works fine.

*sigh*

My Bandwidth report also states "0", but speeds are normal.

Have you tried rebooting your modem? (10 minutes off)

Hi all

There are no problems at the moment.

Please try the following if you feel like your capped.

Switch off your iBurst for ten minutes and then try again.

If that does not help raise a ticket with the contact centre.

If you log in to the website and only see zero's please hold down the CRTL key and press F5, release all keys.

Thanks

Hmmm didn't get it either but had all the speed I expected, unfortunately though looks like the counting is still shot up the creek. Did a measured 970 overnight and this morning's bandwidth report somehow sees that as 2.2gigs.

Ten minutes? What's the technical explanation and what happens if you only turn it off for 9?

Tried that, disconnected the modem for a few hours, plugged it back in now.
Dialed up, no site other than the iBurst site loads.

It is as if I am capped. The other pages do not load, wel, apart from the title.

I do not think reloading the iBurst bandwidth page will help me get the bandwidth I should have? Also earlier when I logged in it did not have zeros next to it. There were no digits.

@ PsyClown

Please get me your user details so that I can check for you what the situation is.

Thanks

To all.

An IP which has been hooked to a throttled state does not want to release itself from your device.

If you power down and then back on straight away the chances of getting the same IP are about 95%.

Some users have needed to power down for 15 to get themselves flying again.

Hope this explains it.

My bandwith usage is displaying now.

No issues from my side.

My usage seems completely wrong, says I've downloaded 2.8 gigs since the new month, that's less than 24 hours and is impossible, however it says that I have 1.6 gigs remaining which doesn't add up to 3 gigs.... WTF.... I'm getting really tired of all these problems since I joined....

Also, where is the extra 250 Megs that Jannie promised if we sign up for electronic statements which I did?

No 250 Meg for me too! And my dashboard still not working... and Iburst is gonna burst my bubble! and and and...
