I know this may be a weird question, but I have sometimes had problems with some channels lossing their sound. Anyway, what I would do was go into the menus, chose Advanced Options, TV Instalation, put in a passcode of 9949, and reset the channels volume.

This worked for me for about 5 years now. Today, I tried to do it, and it said that the passcode was incorrect. Has the passcode changed? Does someone have the new one?

I have a pretty old decoder, single view, I think it is the model just before the 1110.

Any help?

Thanks for that Lancelot - that's going to save a lot of people, a lot of grief!!

Still same on 1110 a few days ago. To lazy to check right now.

The chances of it changing are slim to none imo.

Well I have a DSD 910, and for some reason I keep being told that 9949 doesn't work. I guess it's just a problem for me. I'll need to call Multichoice soon.

Ploy to get you buying their new cheapskate overpriced decoder...

It seems to me they are doing it to get you buying the new decoder.

It is a reduction in functionality. You cannot have extra view with the DSD910 if I am not mistaken. So, I am not at all surprised that they have blocked your decoder from access.

Buy a new decoder. It seems the only solution.

Pretty soon my 1110 will not be working properly and I will have to go and grudgingly buy their latest cheapskate manufactured, reduced functionality, aesthetically revolting, Scrooge budgetly designed and yet overpriced decoder.

Are you wearing your tinfoil hat?

What? My decoder came out years before extra-view, or even dual-view for that matter. Besides, this problem stopped months ago.
