Die from a Budgie bite?

Yes, a Budgie bite.

My cat brought a Budgie home yesterday. I was able to rescue it from the cats mouth and it seems to be fine now.

Just a question: Do Budgie's need shots from a vet or anything?

As i saved it and put it into a cage, it bit me. Like broke skin!

Am i going to die?

Do they carry any dangerous diseases?

I dont know where my cat found it but i think it must have been a someones pet which she stole.

I have never seen a Budgie flying in the wild near to were i stay.

The Bird would most prob need some antibihotics, doubt the cat has a very clean mouth.

And yes, your finger will get Gangrene and rot off /facepalm

tbh, I think Copa had it spot on...

I think he died of embarrassment.
 
OMF! Dude Budgies are one of the worst birds when it comes to humans! They have a very powerful poison only affecting humans!
You start off fine after the bite. Then you get a fever then the bitten area swells then you vomit and get the runs. Your start to bleed from all your orifices you die a slow and painful death.
If you go to the doctor now they will help... once you get a fever its too late.

I am a hypochondriac with a bad case of OCD.

Hence, my freak out.

My glands are swollen and my throat really hurts. But, i felt that before the Budgie bit me.

This might be my last post ever.

Dude, budgies are so venomous they make you ill before they've even bitten you. I'd go see a surgeon, like yesterday.
