Aside from the obvious (pay fixed amounts per month vs. only when you need it), what are the differences between a contract and pre-paid?
I have a handset, and use it mostly for data purposes. I want a lot of data, with minimal talk-time and very limited SMSs. What will I lose out on if I get a pre-paid SIM card? Will I still be able to use it in other countries when I travel? Will the Apple network still recognise it as an iPhone so I can send SMSs as iPhone messages? How much more expensive will it be? (for data, calls and SMSs?)
