Hearing lots of rumors DigiByte will be the next altcoin to shoot for the moon. Anybody hear anything that might shed some light on this?

Haven't really heard much about them in the news lately. I'm holding a very small amount, but I'm not expecting a $0.5 coin any time soon. Be interested to know what news / rumor you heard?

*Apparently* because of Bitcoin shooting right past the moon, the easy mining algos currently available on Digibyte are being flooded and being pushed as the *Missed the bitcoin train? Mine DigiByte*. Wether their is any validity to some of the more vocal online people pushing this who knows, however ile mine some just incase lol. Its not even just 1 or two people, its been over a dozen now. In the past 24 hours ive mined over 250 DigiByte so its indeed easy enough.

Worth picking up a couple thousand now it looks like there's going to be a huge bubble

edit: a bubble in all kinds of cryptocurrencies like the dotcom bubble.
 
A huge DGB bubble doesn't necessarily mean we're going to see a $100 DBG.
It's got a 9 billion circulating supply, 20 billion total supply and currently costs 122 sats.
Quite a ways to go :).
 
One thing I've learnt about hodling dgb is, well, you're always disappointed. TBH out of all my alts, I should have dumped it earlier this year when was 2k+ sats. Theres always a microsoft, or a bank, or a game or some other rumor about it, but nothing ever comes of it. Its dirt cheap so buy, but I honestly don't think its going anywhere soon, if it does, great, but been holding for too long to buy into any rumors, rumor spreads, it pumps a little, and then nothing happens, wash rinse repeat.

Yeah I got burned by DGB as well. Same with XRP. 2 coins that always disappointed.

The only tiny bit of potential news for DGB is their foundation should be launched by the end of this year which among many things, outreach and adoption will be a focus. How this will affect the price, who knows but I don't see any major impact for at least a year.

So far on bittrex, it's tested the 125sat mark 3 times already with no luck. Seems like quite a resistance there.

I'm holding since around 240 sats. Forgot to stop-loss the trade and came back to that alt dump last month. I'm up slightly in USD (thx bitcoin) but down 50% in btc. Not a lot so will just ride it out into 2018.
 
And just to add... although I get disappointed etc, its still one of the best coins imo, transaction are instant(close enough, if you wait 30sec its a lot), and blockchain scales, currently processing 500+ per second which is faster than any coin(correct me if I'm wrong) and when fully unleashed(2030 or something, can't remember exactly and too lazzy right now to look) will process 280 000 transactions per second. No other coin(or system) handles that sort of volume... I for one never understood why ethereum is the coin used for icos, its always clogged up with big icos, dgb spits out ethers full day load in 30min or something... its great, and team is constantly working on it and has a community, but it just never goes anywhere, when it should be up in top 10
 
Im gonna rather just play it safe and mine some for the long haul. With its current dirt cheap pricing and rumors any increase right now would be a win.

As said, its great, but nothing ever happens, always rumors:D

I use dgb all the time, for transfering btc between exchanges when buying alts... as said, its close to instant delivery, within seconds usually, it costs next to nothing to send and cross exchange prices are fairly equal

A x35 would put it at around $0.35.
A $0.5 DBG will be the easiest 100k I've ever made.
Still don't see that happening any time soon though. My DGB is still very much down in BTC terms.

My DGB/BTC is down 37%.
My DGB/USD is up 47%.

Yea its easy enough atm. My home PC with a RX470 racks up a few hundred a day so for little expense ile leave it doing that for now. Until I know which direction DBG is actually going I want to hold off on spending money on it.

I'm Skeptical of exchanging other cryptos for Digibyte. Safe bet is to buy with USD. I'm a total noob if anybody can point me to an exchange that I can buy DGB with USD will be appreciated
 
I bought some DGB through changelly about an hour ago. I sent the coins to the official DGB wallet but no coins have come through?

Any thoughts as to how long this process takes?
