DigiByte the next Bitcoin?

I bought some DGB through changelly about an hour ago. I sent the coins to the official DGB wallet but no coins have come through?

Any thoughts as to how long this process takes?

DGB is basically instant, if you're waiting, either exchange hasn't released em, or wallet isn't synced. When did you install wallet?

You either a Coke or a Pepsi. Bitcoin will always be Coke!

Yeah I should learn to read before posting. I need to resync the network.

I signed up using your referral link, how do I make a deposit to the site?
Select 'ASSETS' in the top menu.
Scroll until you find Digibtyes.
Select 'DEPOSIT'.

EDIT: My bad. But yeah the same would apply for BITCOIN / ETH etc.

(Thanks :))

Thanks saw that, however I am very new at this (Only been doing the NH thing), do I need to buy somewhere else and deposit it to the site you listed?

You want to buy DGB with bitcoin or eth?

Oh I see, so you can't buy it with cash?

So guessing I buy Eth/BTC on Luno and then buy DGB with that?
Yup.

It's sometimes worthwhile to see how much ETH or BTC you get for your ZAR,
then see how much DGB you get for that ETH or BTC .

Get the most DGB for your ZAR as possible :).

So then you'd buy BTC or ETH locally, send it to the exchange (like Kucoin) and trade DGB under the MARKET tab using either the BTC or ETH trading pair. If you don't want to use an exchange you can always use a service like changelly. If you use changelly you'll need a DGB wallet which you can get from their site https://digibyte.io/digibyte-downloads.

Brilliant, thanks!

Ok I reset the network in my DGB wallet, still no coins.

It can only be one of two things, your wallet has not fully synced yet or you sent it to the wrong address..
Just checked now again and its in, took a while but all good.

Just how large is the download for the blockchain is ? I downloaded the wallet but the download seems idle, also downloaded chrome based wallet that one did not seem to need the download.

Downloading of the blockchain is only really done if you using the core client wallet. The chrome extension wallet would likely connect to a 3rd party who stores the block chain information, eliminating the need for you to store it.
