DigiByte the next Bitcoin?

Yup.

It's sometimes worthwhile to see how much ETH or BTC you get for your ZAR,
then see how much DGB you get for that ETH or BTC .

Get the most DGB for your ZAR as possible :).

So then you'd buy BTC or ETH locally, send it to the exchange (like Kucoin) and trade DGB under the MARKET tab using either the BTC or ETH trading pair. If you don't want to use an exchange you can always use a service like changelly. If you use changelly you'll need a DGB wallet which you can get from their site https://digibyte.io/digibyte-downloads.

Hey Saor, how do you find KuCoin? Seems easy enough to trade on, with a nice wide range of coins as well.

EDIT: Nice man, just bought a few thousand DGB's on Kucoin, left them there for now as I haven't set up a wallet yet. Seems like a pretty decent trading platform, actually too much info for my noobish brain to deal with.

FYI. Seems like the predictions where right, DGB is skyrocketing. Up 105% in 24 Hours and climbed to 44th position from 75... (As of this post)

My holdings are up 270% so this is great.
You're holding DGB too right?
You seen any reasonable forecasts on where the price could be mid-2018?

Yea I am, still mining away but its definitely become more difficult with the upward trend. Eventually the only way to get DGB is through buying from a Exchange if this keeps up. And while I hate speculating on future forecasts it does seem to be looking good right now.

Yup, put in a little and its sitting at a healthy 280%. I do think it has more to give, especially as I get more and more annoyed with BTC, Eth, Ltc and their scaling issues.
EDIT: Oh and thanks MadCat and Saor for the tip in the first place

No stress, im happy the rumors where true. Another rumor is its going to go up now with Japan buying in as well however ild rather not speculate and rather just watch it for now. Would also be great if a local exchange would add Digibyte.

Looks like we might have a $0.1 Digibyte soon if this keep on going.

DGB pretty much at USD ATH right now.

DGB BTC value still way down. The more it goes up, the more that USD value goes up.

Is nice.

The more I read about DGB the more I like it.

DGB is one of the only coins I'll keep and hold regardless, everything about it is on a positive curve. The community used to be full of salty people who bought too high in June during that pump+dump, and were constantly badmouthing DGB on social media. Now, I barely see any of that. Everyone is positive, and looking forward to the future.

Apart from being quick af and cheap to transfer, its one of the few coins that actually has a functioning blockchain, it works and its value isn't solely built on random hype.

The DGB team don't talk rubbish. They have a simple roadmap, first focus of which is getting onto as many exchanges as possible, and look how many exchanges they have been added to recently.

The number of coins available is in the billions, which makes for a decent supply.

I could go on.

I'm putting this away for at least another year.
Unless it goes stratospheric and hits $1 in the next few months...then I'll sell off half. Going to be interesting to see how DGB gets adopted next year & becomes a more widely used chain.

Agreed :).

Well this is a unexpected surprise. It was surpassing all previous predicted future gains and now with McAfee promoting it, its shooting for the moon. Again, I will "HODL" and see what it does. Also since this seems to be the go-to thread for DigiByte at the moment on MyBB I want to caution anyone pumping money into this. Even though it looks good now just be careful.
